Pixie Lott has a default font that she has used in 2 of her albums, doing this helps distinguish the artist from other artists. It also makes her albums look more legitimate.
I aim to use the same idea as Pixie Lott and do the same with 'Charlie Jayne'. Here are a few fonts that i have chosen that have potential to be 'Charlie Janye's default brand font.
I decided to look for fonts that look handwritten. My reason for this being is that my artist is very much the kind of person who is sweet and bubbly. I want my album to reflect off her personality as well as her music. Charlie Jayne's album consists mostly of love songs. Some songs will be acoustic.
These fonts can reflect the type of songs that are in this album. Soft flowing, sweet and loving. When something is handwritten is usually makes it personal. Although this album are for her fans, to her it is still personal.
Rihanna does the same:
However it is just one letter. This is more like her new symbol, it is short, simple and bold! Although it does not spell out her name the 'R' was uniquely designed for her image and so is officially branded as her. People can easily distinguish this to be her, if they saw it as a poster, t-shirt or any other merchandise.
Charlie Jayne as CJ...
(too corny in my opinion, worth a try)
