So originally I wanted pictures taken in Alexandra Palace, the colour scheme to be Blue, White and Grey and I also wanted a graphic design on one side of my covers. I did mention that it may change as I try things out, but I didn't realise it would change this much...
First the pictures; I originally wanted pictures of Charlene in Alexandra Palace wearing exactly what shes wearing in the video. As well as a graphic design picture in White, Blue and Grey to match the colour scheme. In the end I chose two pictures from one photo shoot of Charlene in a yellow dress, and one picture from the photo shoot that Zhara did with her. There is also one panel which I chose to keep White with information on it.
Secondly the colour scheme; Originally I planned for the colour scheme to be White, Grey and Blue, however this all quickly changed the minuet I got into photo shop and looked at the pictures I was using. Unless I made every picture black and white, most pictures had too many different colours in them already. So I thought best to keep the text black or white. Also this made the text stand out even more. My new colour scheme was Black, White and Yellow.
Finally the context of my digipak and advertisement; At first I wanted information such as producers song writers etc on the outside back panel. The song listing on the inside cover, The CD housing to have a graphic design in the background and the front cover to be a picture of Charlene outside. I then wanted my advertisement to have a picture of Charlene outside in her yellow long dress with information of her new release around her. This then all changed to this....... The back panel has the song listing and bar code as well as the copy write and record company logo. The front cover has a picture of Charlene's face with the name of the artist and the album name above and below her. The CD housing has a picture of Charlene taken by Zhara in the background and the CD placing over the top in black, this picture is in black and white. Finally the inside cover is a white background with black text containing some further information with the record labels printed again above.
