In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

'Someone Like You' by Adele

In these images both establishing shots are used to give a sense of location. The black and white image is taken from the music video.

In our music video we tries to get as many shot of the artist singing to to camera as possible, like many other music videos.

In our music video we used black and white edits to convey the emotions of the past, we also used a black frame, like the music video.

We wanted our locations to show a sense of isolation. When we saw the scene of Adele singing by the river we also thought it was a good idea.

'Best Thing We Never Had' by Beyonce

In our video we used wardrobe that we had seen in the music video by Beyonce. This MV inspired this part of our video.

The black frame in Beyonce's music video is used to represent past events (her failed love story) and we also used this to gi ve the same idea.
