So this afternoon I started the inside panels of my cd. I always had an idea of what I wanted the inside of my cd cover to be like. When it came to putting my ideas together this is where I struggled as I am not very confident at using Adobe Photoshop so it took me a long time to figure out all the different affects and motions you could do to transform a normal image or object. So the first thing I decided to do was to design the right hand side of the inside panel with this I just used a simple photo of a rose that I took during the christmas holidays and I just changed the colour and darkened the contrast.
Once I had finished designing the rose and positioning it on to the inside panel of my Digi pak. I then had to design the CD itself, this part may sound easy but to me it was difficult as I was trying to make sure the circle for my CD cover was the right size. I would either make it too big or to small when after trying a millions times I finally got the perfect CD. Now with the right side of my inside panel complete it was then time to start work on the left side of the panel, I decided to use a close up image of Charlene which showed her to be quite sad. I again decided to have the image in black and white as I thought it would be more effective in showing the audience that she was sad and lonely.
Before I could position the image of Charlene on to the inside panel I had to take into photo shop and play around with it to get to be the right size, and to make sure that the image didn't look like it had been stretched. Once I had finally got the image to the size I wanted it to be I positioned it on the left inside panel.
In the top left hand corner of the Digi pak I decided to write a little message which said "With Love Charlie Jayne xxx" I decided to include this message on my inside panel as I felt like it would show that Charlie Jayne cares about her fans. And it would her to be warm and kind hearted.
