This was firstly made in 1993 where pop videos where becoming very popular and the old Todorov narrative analysis didnt really apply to modern day music videos as much anymore.

Its basically to Categorise  music videos into different ways in which the artist wants to represent their self as well as their music. It also uses a lot of links between repetition between the song and video to appeal to the audience and stick into their heads. These three are:

• Illustration
• Amplification
• Disjunction
