So far we have done the rough cut, and we had to choose from about two hundred clips and and then import them into Final Cut Pro. Once we had done that we automatically started editing. We desactuarted many of the clips to show the flash backs. We also had to cut the beginning bit a lot so that it fitted in with the beat, so we had to expand it a lot. It took us a while to finish the rough cut as we wanted to get in all the important scenes. We looked at how we would edit out Ade's character, so that at some points he was in the video and then he wasn't, we got this idea from destiny's child video -emotions. We also had to work out how to put in the base track so that it went in time with Charlene's vocals/ lip syncing.
Whenever I have come into do editing the group has already started and have got at least half way through editing. Me and Charlene have found it surprisingly easy to get back into the swing of editing. Last year i did a lot of editing but found it quite hard, however this year I'm finding quite simple :D
Were still not completely finished editing, but by Friday 25th it will be complete and to everyones standards. I think watching it in the cinema will be difficult and funny. I personally find it really hard to watch my work back, however i know it helps and it will be nice to see everyone videos
