Production of Music Video: AUDIENCE FEEDBACK ON ROUGH CUT.

So as soon as my group and I finished the rough cut, I posted the link to it on my Facebook hoping to get as much feedback as we could get. Due to copyright reasons of the song I was not allowed to post the actual music video on my Facebook wall so I posted a link to blogger instead. I was surprised by the amount of feedback I got and many of the comments I got were very honest and helpful! These comments helped me find ways to improve the music video for the final cut.

Here are some screen grabs:

(Please excuse some of my silly friends making fun of the male actor)
Ade actually done a great job!

I have also had Annabel take a look at what i edited yesterday, not much compliments but she gave very good opinions that i took into account.

Here are quotes of what she said:

"I feel you have way too much narrative in the beginning and not much in the end, it should really be the other way around. Meaning more narrative at the end, do you get what I mean?"
"You've crammed a lot of narrative at the beginning, they are greats shots and I love the black and white with the border you used!"
"Near the end i could tell you are starting to run out of clips with base tracks which is why its best the narrative should be at the beginning, since you do have a lot of base track with the dress and you on the bench; it makes sense that you put these in at the beginning instead of the narrative black and white clips, those go nice at the end"
"Make sure you add the sounds of the birds and clock ticking at the beginning"
"When Ade throws whatever that is at you...make it slow motion so that its clearer to the audience what he is throwing"

After re-editing what she asked:

"The slow motion is much better!"
"Hahahahaha that slap was great!"
