So our third day of filming was spent at Golders hill park, which is located in Golders Green. I made my own way to Golders Green, as i thought it would be easier from my house then to leave from college. So I got the overground from Hackney Central to Camden then got the Northern line to Golders Green. When I got to Golders Green I had to wait a while as the girls hadn't arrived yet, so I just waited at the bus stop for them to arrive.
Finally the girls arrived and we were ready to set off to the park, whilst Zahra was doing Charlene's make up at the bus stop I decided to check that we had everything we needed. Sadly Zahra and Charlene forgot to pick up our memory cards, so me and Charlene had to go all the way back to college to get our memory cards. This delayed our filming time, but it was a simple mistake so it doesn't matter. So as soon as we arrived back in Golders Green we got the bus to the park and we had a long walk to get to the part of the park we wanted to film in.
When we arrived at the place we were going to film I was amazed at how beautiful it was as it looked like something out of a film, I had never seen a park like this park. So the first thing we done was set up the camera and the tripod. Whilst I was setting up the camera Zahra was doing Charlene's hair and make up we were going for a simple and subtle look but with dark smoky eyes. Once Charlene's hair and make up was done Charlene then had to get into the dress she would be wearing for this filming session.
So after a while we were finally ready to begin filming. The first thing we decided to do was to get some close ups of Charlene and of charlene walking through the arch in the park. We then thought it would be best if we filmed a base track of Charlene singing in the dress whilst standing against a wall which was filled with pretty purple flowers. After filming a while we began to hear a bell ringing, and then a guy who works in park came and told us that the park was closing in 15minutes. Panic mode began to set in as we hadn't finished filming. So we decided to film a few more scenes then we would leave the park in time for the park to close.
I must say that Charlene did extremely well when we were filming on this day as it was freezing cold and she was wearing a dress and even though she was cold she was professionally and didn't moan about having to wear a dress. So well done Charlene.
