Before making our music video I already knew that we would be using Final cut pro, as final cut pro was a big part of my coursework AS media when came down to editing my thriller film. So I was kind of nervous about using final cut pro as I wasnt really confident at using last year as it was a new programme to me. But I would have to say that this year I have been really luckily as I had the chance to practise using final cut pro in media workshops at lunch times, which I found was a big help. I also got the chance to edit some of our music video this year aswell, which I found helped me in becoming more confident with using final cut pro. I would say the best thing I about final cut pro is when we got to add in special effects to our music video such as cross dissolves and fade in and fade out. We also experimented with the speed ofsome of our shots, we slowed some clips down which we thought we suit be a bit slower.
I also got the chance to use Sound track pro again this year, which I really enjoyed using as I think Sound track pro is an amazing programme. Sound track pro really helped when it came to adding sound effects to the beginning of our music video.
