On our 3rd day of filming we went to GOLDERS HILL PARK =D.
So I went to college to meet charlene in the morning to collect the equipement for this we got:
- Flip camera
- Video Recorder
- Umbrella
- Tripod
- SD cards (we was meant to collect this but we forgot) :/
When they did come back it getting on and was about 2-3pm so we had to be quick and meet them at the bus stop outside of Golders Hill Park. When we finally got to our location in the park we set everything up, and I helped Charlene with her dress, make up and hair. It was absolutely freezing that day so we all found it very hard to keep in concentration, however we got some amazing shots of Charlene with longs shots, close ups, mid shots, panning and tracking. I also captured some scenery shots while everyone was getting ready for the next scenes.
One of the main scenes we did was when Charlene was in the arch way in her dress walking up and down, posing and singing along for our base track. We also did some of her singing against a wall with some really nice purple and blue flowers. But soon after that it started getting very dark and that’s when we knew that the filming wasn’t going to work anymore as the video we wanted to create was not set at night. We then had to go as the park warden told us it was closing time, here we rushed some shots and got a quick clip of Charlene running away from the camera.
Overall it was a good day, and I think we all did very well considering the freezing weather, but we did have to be very professional just like any other major filming production, even from watching behind the scene clips from the likes of music artists such as The Wanted, Nicki Minaj and Cheryl Cole I can see that most video shoots are not perfect but you just have to look ahead and get on with it.
