Student digipak anaylsis

Before we began making our own ancillary products- our Digi pak and advertisement. We had to look at previous students work to gain inspiration. I have chosen to analyse Stephanie Jackson's Rumors Digi pak and advertisement poster. 

I chose to analyse this media students ancillary products as I feel that this album cover and advertisement poster relates to our music video. I think what makes me think this is the use of images, the images are so bold and striking.

Likes:-

• Images of the artist- They are bold and striking, in which you immediately think that is the performer from the music video.
• The information used- I feel that the information included in the Digi pak and the advertisement is very clear and detailed and gives you all the relevant information you need to know. 

Dislikes:-

• The Font- I don't really like the font that has been used on the Digi pak or the advertisement poster as I feel that is quite difficult to read. By this I mean on the front cover of the Digi pak you can't really tell what the album is called. I only realised after I read the name off the advertisement poster. Again with the font on the back cover of the Digi pak the track listing is very hard to understand. 
• The colour scheme I don't think the colour scheme goes well with images that was chosen for the Digi pak or the advertisement. 
• I also feel that they should have used the same font throughout the Digi pak and the advertisement instead of having too different fonts. 

All in all I think the Digi pak and advertisement is really good I just feel that the colour scheme and the font style let her down as the colour scheme to me doesn't go well with the images. And I feel the font doesn't suit well with the images niether.
