Anaylsis of three digipaks

The three digipaks I have decided to anaylse include:

Christina Perri: Jar of Hearts
What I like about Christina Perri's digipak is I like the colour scheme that she has used I mean they are simple. And then you have the contrasting colour of red, which I think stands out a lot. I also like how the image of the artist is showing of her personality as you can see that she is wearing a number of tattoo's.

If I would have any crictism of this digipak it would have to be with the font chosen and also the size of the font. To me I feel that you can't really read the title of the album as the colour of the writing is too similiar to the back ground colour of the digipak. Also I feel that she should have used the same font throughout the digipak instead of using two different font types. I also think that the artists name should be a bit bigger so that it stands out more.

Ellie Goulding: Bright Lights

What I like about Ellie Goulding's digipak is the colours that have been used I mean even though they are very simple colours I feel that they are really effective and makes the album cover stand out. I also like the image that has been used on the front cover even though Ellie Goulding isnt looking dirctly at the camera, I feel that the way she is positioned makes the album cover very unique. I also like the effects that have been used I mean of the little dots on the front cover, this is symbolising the use of bright lights which is the name of the album. I also think this can be said for colour of the writing as it makes the album again stand out as the writing is so immerisve and bold. I don't think I have any negative comments to say about this digipak cover.

Britney Spears

My final digpak I am going to anaylse is Britney Spears: In the Zone. What I like about this digipak is that even though I feel that it is very simple at the same time I still think that it is very simple. I really like the colour scheme used on the front cover I feel the pale blue and pink goes really well together. I also like the flawless image of Britney Spears that has been used as she is looking directly in to the camera, which I think shows that she is trying to connect with her fans. I also like how she has stuck to the same font throughout the whole album. My only bit of negative critcism is where she has positioned the album name and the artist's name I feel that even though they have been placed in unique places. I feel that the places used are not really effective as I feel that the artists name and album name should be in the middle of the image, as I think this would make the album better. But I also feel that it would make it easier for the audience to know what the album name is. Out of the three digipaks I have analysed I feel that this is the most simple digipak.

After analysing all threee digipaks I feel the one that would relate to mine would either be Ellie Goulding's or Christina Perr.
