The Music Industry

The music industry has changed dramatically throughout the last 10 years. 
Production- Before the change over from analogue to digital small record companies would sell manual music such as cds.  Where as now music  is downloaded from computers and is all in digital form.
 Distribution-  How the audience find out about music, and how it gets to them.  
The: You would either here about a song from a friend or family member or youd buy your music from your local record store, or you would here a song on your  radio station.
Now: You can also here of a song from friends or family or buy cds from shops such as HMV.  Also you can download  your music from itunes or other websites such as youtube converter. Sometimes you may here of a song from a social networking site such as facebook or myspace.Exchange-  Who owns the music and who gets to listen to it(record companies and the audience)
Then: cds,burning cds and mixtapes
Now: now there is illegal downloading and legal downloading  I personally get my music from itunes or youtube converter.
