Analysis of orginal music video...

If you dont all ready know or if you havent seen  Pixie Lott's cover of Use Somebody's music video then you wont know that the song doesnt really have a proper music video as the music video is set in a studio with Pixie Lott singing and a guy playing guitar. I would say that I like the music video for Pixie Lott's cover of Use Somebody as the music video is simple and minimal and it shows that they are concentrating more on the singing of the song then what is going on in the music video.

When watching this video I all ready know what is going to be different in our music video. One of the main differences in our music video is that our music video is going to be telling a story. When I say story I mean that our music video is going to have a purpose, it is going to be following a storyline. Whereas in the orginal music video for the song you only see Pixie Lott standing and singing.

We will also have a range of different camera angles. Ranging from medium camera shots to close ups, we will also have a number of close ups, as this is a key aspect in a music video. Even though this music video has a lot of different camera angles we are going to make sure that we have a range of different shots so that when it comes to the editing process we have a lot to choose from.

We will also be filming in a number of different locations such as a house, the house we will be using is Rosie's house a member of our group. When filming in Rosie's house the main rooms in her house we will be using is her bedroom and her kitchen. We will also be shooting a lot of our music video outside, when filming outside we will be using a park and maybe starbucks. Our music video will differ from the original music video because we will have a number of locations whereas in Pixie Lott's music video she only used 1 location which was a studio.

Another way our music video will differ is through the editing process we will use a lot more techniques when it comes to the editing process of our music video. When I say a range of different techniques I mean we might decide to edit our film in black and white. As to me black and white symbolise the mood of sad and depressed. We will also be using a rnage of different props such as a guitar and a journal.
