Short List Of Fonts, Colours and Layout Design

The fonts that I will be using for my digi pak will be:

• Cheyenne Hand -  which will be used for the artists name

• CatholicSchoolGirl BB - which will be used for the title of the album

And the colour that will be used are:

• Grey - Artists name

• Multi coloured - Album title

• Cream/white or black/white - background

• Pink, Purple, yellow and red and multi tones- Effects

• Front panel will be in colour

• Back panel will be in colour

• Inside left panel image will be in black and white

• CD housing will be in colour

• Behind CD housing will be in black and white

• Font panel - Centre image of artist in dress

• Back panel - Back of the artist in the same outfit but with a jacket

• Inside left panel image - Close up of artists face

• CD housing - Image of flower effects (No artist)

• Behind CD housing - Image of a hand (No artist)

Here is just my last screen shot of me opening my new images on photoshop elements for my digitak in the last lesson of media till the new year.

Inside of Digipak so far...

Photoshop for the first time

In lesson today it was very confusing, this is only the second time I have ever used Photoshop properly, I found it difficult to get pictures on and in the right place with out stretching them.  I found it really difficult trying to figure out where things were, as I am used old Photoshop.
Regardless I managed to do the inside panels, I've used two images so far, but this may change, I may take the one I used away.  I wrote down my song listings, and drew out a CD spacing on the right panel.  However my digipak looks a bit plain at the moment and I plan on doing a lot more work on it when we carry on with them.

I didn't complete much this lesson, but I have made a start on the inside panel.

Potential Photo's for My DigiPak

 

So as you can see I have a lot of potential photo's that I could use for my digipak. When it comes to deciding what images to use for my digipak I will base it all on what images I think wil suit the genre of the music. What I have already decided on is that I am only going to use a maximum of two images for my digipak, as I dont want the digipak to be over loaded with images.
